OVERVIEW

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help serve a meal.  We are grateful for your support!  Our resource centers provide meals, shelter, and other resources for up to 1450 guests each day. We are open 24/7, 365 days a year for our guests and provide three meals each day.  This opportunity invites individuals and small groups to serve meals for shifts of 2 hours. You will assist kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals, preparing to-go meals for on-the-move guests, sanitizing/cleaning the kitchen, doing dishes, and more. Lunch is served every day from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. 

REQUIREMENTS  

All volunteers must be at least 12 years old and wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers will be asked to wear a hairnet (provided), a beanie, or a ballcap worn backwards. A food handlers permit is not required to participate in this opportunity. Our facilities can accommodate up to 5 volunteers per shift in the kitchen.
