Requirements

Please plan on 1-30 individuals ages 60+.

Group Size: 1-6 volunteers

(Card Making, Jewelry Making, Origami, Crocheting, Flower Arranging)

Volunteer: Kids’ Activities (CCFRC)

The Connie Crosby Family Resource Center playroom is available to schedule group activities with the kids on Wednesday evenings from 5-6pm. We can accommodate groups of 4-10 volunteers ages 16 or older. Please plan on 15-25 children ages 5–12. Activities can include dance classes, learning a fun new skill, classroom games, decorating cookies, craft projects, creating gifts for families during holidays, and more! Consider planning activities that are interactive and have multiple parts to accommodate short attention spans. 

We have some basic supplies available to use in the Playroom. If you need specific supplies, feel free to email and ask about availability. We generally have the following supplies available (please note that item availability is based on donations and may vary):

Crayons Markers Pencils & Colored Pencils Scissors (adult, child and decorative) Ribbon Hole Punches (various shapes/sizes) Erasers Pencil Sharpeners Paper Rulers Stencils Stamps (Ink is not currently available) Beads Foam stickers (various shapes/styles)

In order to accommodate multiple groups, we ask that you sign up no more than once a month.
