Who We Are

In 1998 The Road Home began operating the Community Winter Shelter for men in a former celery warehouse in Midvale. In 2010 we transitioned this facility to serve families with children. In 2012 we renovated the building with partners, and in 2015 we opened the new two-story facility.

What We Do

This emergency shelter includes office and communal spaces, dining and cooking facilities, a dorm-style sleeping area, and access for people with disabilities. The Connie Crosby Family Resource Center serves up to 300 people nightly, with onsite case management and on and off site community partners.
